When the time comes for Death to grace me with her presence, I hope she is kind and gentle as she gleans me from this mortal coil. I can only hope that as she looks into my eyes and calls my name, I will not act as a coward, shrinking from the fear of my last breath.

Instead, I wish to meet her gaze, confident that I lived my life to the fullest, and embrace her with anticipation.
